This recipe works because it’s simple, tastes great, and easy to execute. All that, and it makes a bunch of food so you can bring it to work and eat on the cheap for like half the week

This is one of my favorite recipes. It makes a big batch of chicken thighs that I love to take to work for lunch. I adapted it from a recipe from America’s Test Kitchen for a slow cooker so I could use it in a Dutch oven.
I’ve made it with both a food processor and by mixing the dough by hand and let’s be clear, the food processor makes your life much easier.
